Relatively new to vintage t shirts and trying to learn. Picked this shirt up recently, I like it a lot either way, but obviously if real it's a big deal (or even a vintage boot). I'm leaning towards fake but want a second opinion so thank you all for your time.
Important notes/things that are off:
- Single stitch on bottom but double on sleeves?
- Looks like there was another (white?) tag underneath, and the giant tag was stitched over
- Thread count in giant lettering looks more sparse
- T shirt feel and graphic seem fine (not obvious poor quality)
If anyone is familiar with this era or tee shirt let me know!

Re: Legit Check Giant Kurt Cobain Memorial Tee
I think this is original, why can I say that? I have a friend who bought the shirt from new. At that time my friend told me that there were indeed some shirts running out of raw materials for the tag or the material for the stitching, there were also single double, double bottom / top single, there were several different giant tags too. including the giant in nirvana.

Thank you for your input, that makes sense. Its very interesting to learn about the variety of blanks and construction of t shirts.
