I'm also worried about the tag. I think it's sewn on and not the original tag of the shirt. Is that true?

Yes, but the measurements match. The tag appears to be fine. And remember there are legit reasons for tags to be like this - for one, Harley doesn't make the t-shirts, they just print on them. Sometimes for one reason or another they don't get their tags installed and often resort to this method.
