Phillies shirt

Post by Camouk3 »

Wondering what I have here, not my area of knowledge?
My guess is it relates to the baseball team but that’s just a guess.

From what I can tell, that logo was used from 1970-75, but it's not the best interpretation of it, so maybe fan-made or used for a local softball team.

But I'll check in with Josh at IVWT, as this is out of my wheelhouse.

....I can't, I've tried looking at it under different light and from different angles but it is too washed out.

He couldn't make sense of it. I looked up the history of their jerseys and the very first one does feature ties similar to yours.

Maybe it was some fan made / softball team paying homage to that, made sometime in the 70s or 80s?

It doesn't appear to be anything official.

Not sure what the neck info is. BUT sometimes, items are tagged/numbered in care homes for laundry purposes.
