I was interested to know what a piece like this would be worth with the noticeable cut in the collar. the person I got it from told me they put '$38' into repairing this specific garment. that makes me think it's not a boot, but I still have some doubts.

Re: Giant Deftones Appraisal
The tag checks out - what's the pit to pit? What are your concerns?

Re: Giant Deftones Appraisal
I've heard a lot of the bootleg giant tag tees they like to use the Tultex one
I also know they like to cut the tags to make it seem as if they got lost throughout the years of wear. No cut tag in this specific garment, but a flaw with the shirt previously made me a little concerned as if they cut it purposely to make it seem legit.
I'm still learning a lot, so I've got a lot to learn
Re: Giant Deftones Appraisal
It's usually the tee jays Giant tag, Tultex is currently counterfeited less.
Sometimes they'll install a legit tag, which is why it's always good to check the pit to pit measurement.
That said, I don't think this one would be a target for fakes, they usually go after the really $$$ tees.
