Honeymoon in Las Vegas

Post by StivTaters »

Hey everybody, i'm going to Vegas for the first time and was wondering if anybody had any "must do/see" suggestions. I will only be there three days...gonna get married on friday the 13th by an Elvis impersonator. Thanks in advance!

Thanks JJ! Sadly, i won't be wearing a vintage tux shirt, but maybe i'll wear the pilot novelty shirt on the flight over and see if i can't boss some stewardesses around a bit.

I really like the Pinball Hall of Fame there in Vegas. It's definitely off the beaten path, but worth it to play restored pinball, skill games, and video games.

The Neon Museum is also there and worth the trip, but it's by appointment only.

Well, I'm partial to a spot called Treasures, but not quite sure thats honeymoon material...cough. Anyway, if you want to get away from all the flashing lights and ding ding ding of casinos and shows, and connect with nature, you should check out Red Rock. It's about 20 or 30 minutes drive from the strip, and a nice and easy rock scrambling climb to the top most anyone can do. The view is spectacular from the top. Watch out for those wild asses!

Depends on what time you go, Stiv. Hey, also, you might want to squeeze in a trip to the machine gun shooting range http://www.lasvegasgunrange.net/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
