Hey guys, I just found this forum off Hermosa Vintage's site. I wish I had seen it sooner. I'm going to look over a lot of the existing stuff but figured I'd drop an intro first.
I'm in Albany, NY and do a lot of buying in the upstate NY region. I go for mens clothing with a ratio of approx. 50% vintage and 50% current stuff. I focus on my ebay store during the week and then switch gears on weekends where I'm the weekend editor for Alternative Press.
Hoping to learn more than I already have by being on here.

Re: First Post.
Thanks! I went through about a year of making rookie mistakes, buying duds, selling things way too low auction style, and so on before I sort of figured out a better way of doing things.
I'd like to start going on more buying trips to major cities where I can find better flips than I do my region. I've hit one store in Brooklyn and it was just that. Things were priced higher ($7-10) but worth the extra investment. I think I'm gonna make my way down there and to LI this month.

LI? At least one of your items (Ralph Lauren mix) can be sourced in bales from a raghouse cheaply and in quantity. Have you looked into the suppliers in your area?
Have vintage Elvis tees? Let me know!

Yeah, headed to Long Island after Brooklyn. Tomorrow I'm just going on a short trip to Pittsfield, MA.
I haven't looked into bulk buying, I love selling Polo though and would be interested in doing that. The only stuff I've bought in bulk are some older band T's like Life of Agony (which was cool because multiples of the same item = save time listing).
