Anyone else into Guayabera shirts?
I love 'em. They're comfy, light, kinda kitschy, and they have plenty of pockets. I've scored all of mine at thrift stores. The day I found this blue one was a great day. I found the blue one AND a tan AND a green AND a double of each! Couple bucks a piece. The black is probably the best one I've found. It has a slimmer cut than most of them.

My dad had some (may still have them) some years ago. It's sort of a staple with older Puerto Rican men (older than my father, anyway), but I don't see them worn as much as I used to when I was growing up.
BTW - you need a swank straw hat to complete the look.

Yeah. It's very much a latino thing. They're also called Mexican wedding shirts. They're actually considered formal wear in tropical areas. We were just in Miami so I got to sport them in there intended climate.
PS I'm always on the look out for a good panama hat.
