Nike Shirts

Post by maxvintage »

I just did a quick scan through completed listings of Nike shirts over at Ebay. Prices seemed a lot lower than what they had been a few months ago. It all appears that several old Pinwheel shirts have just "shown" up. Geisha shirts that were at a few thousand not too long ago are now only selling for $350-500. Seems very odd.

All of this got me wondering, has the Nike bubble finally burst?

Ya man I noticed that too! A few Nike tees ended for 10-15 bucks that got $100-200. Nike's run is over? Flash in the pan? Was it all because they got featured in some silly book?

Yeah, very odd. I'm getting rid of all my NIKE stuff. :)

I noticed that too when I was researching. Same thing happened a while back with the Nike Dunks (I'm a bit of a sneakerhead, although I don't collect). Nike still holds some value, so if I find a t-shirt for $1 and can get $15-20 for it, I still feel pretty good about it. :D I suspect it will be cyclical and 5-10 years from now, it'll blow up again.
