1972 Nike orange swoosh Olympic trials

Post by Marbles »

Hi,
I have been checking out this forum for awile. Just decided to join the other day. Possibly get some help with different goodies I have collected here and there. This is a near mint orange swoosh Nike Olympic trials shirt from 1972. It also has a name on the back. Covert.Apparently he was at the trials and was the first person with Nike shoes to place in a Olympic event. Any Idea what its worth? Any historical value for Nike? Thanks for any help ahead of time..

Welcome!! I know they reprinted these shirts recently. Is it made in USA or Macau? Is there a tag on the inside seam on the side?

I have a Nike pinwheel shirt but it has a sportswear tag. Is that worth anything or another 15$ shirt? Ill post it.

Or made in Portugal - but some of them still have value as reprints though! The Nike Sumo for example.
