So I picked this 70'S Fleetwood Mac varsity jacket. Checked on everything, and aside from one small hole (from cigarette burn) everything was ok. Until I heard a sound as I hung the jacket. It was a sound of two coins trapped inside the jacket. I double checked to see if I missed a tear/ split seam/ other holes. But to no avail.
How on earth the coins ended up inside the jacket? The cigarette-burn-hole is too small for the coins. Any idea on how to get 'em out? Would it be a problem when it's shipped abroad? Could it be a couple of highly valuable coins hidden by the previous owner? ha!
Seriously, my concern is that it'd be a problem at customs when metals are detected.

Re: Coins inside a Fleetwood Mac jacket
awesome jacket. my bet is they repaired a hole in a pocket well sometimes just a seam sep. and not a hole. I wouldnt worry too much about customs...include a receipt that describes the jacket with coins in interior.
can you work them close to one of pockets? maybe the original owner tried ...couldnt but didnt want it to happen again.
if you really want them out take it to a seamstress theres prob. a closer seam to extract from. but wouldnt stress it.

Yes, I've checked closely to the pockets as well but it doesn't look like there's been new stitches/repair. Guess am just gonna leave it there and describe it when it's shipped.
Thanks JJ!
