Oh No You Didn't!
Yes, yes, I did.
And why not? In the last year the blog has become a great little community of vintage lovers so I decided to completely open up the lines of communication.
I field numerous questions and comments via email on a weekly basis - if these were public everyone can weigh in and the threads will be a valuable resource.
Have you discovered a cool listing or something else vintage related? Post it! Want to know if a t-shirt is a repro? Post it! Want to find out how much something is worth? Post it! Want to trade or sell something privately? You get the idea.
There's a built in community of buyers and sellers that will be happy answer your questions.
The beauty is that you can upload photos directly - just click "upload attachment" tab below each post and select the photo from your hard drive.
If you can think of any more categories please let me know.
Talk amongst yourselves,
JJ

I'm really excited as well. Actually the only reason that I'm able to pick any vintage t-shirts from our factory is because of Defunk'd guides. Thanks guys and I look forward to some great discussions here.
Have vintage Elvis tees? Let me know!

Hey Bubba. Where do you live? Lots of good mills by you? Just like christmas morning when you walk in there right? Nothing like the smell of old clothing and lots of dust! Only people like us could truly enjoy that smell

Re: Oh No You Didn't!
Hey VP, I've just corrected my location it was a little misleading.
I'm in central america most of the year so, no there aren't many of us here.
NY is a totally different situation, there are some great graders in the city, although I've never picked up vintage anywhere else.
How would you define "good"? By the quantity of rags that they process in a day? I figure that most people like to pick their own stuff piece by piece, so unless you do wholesale good grading matters very little, right?

I for one welcome our new vintage t-shirt forum, and believe it fills a void in the nascent vintage T-shirt collecting/dealing community!

Re: Oh No You Didn't!
newbie to this forum, but not the vintage world. I've been slinging vintage for almost 9 years and started on ebay, but now I have a shop, website, and wholesale warehouse in Philadelphia. I just got into t-shirts in the last year so I'm loving this forum! We sell wholesale, so hit me up with any inquiries. Hey Mike!

Good day everyone. I'm new to the boards and wanted to introduce myself. I've been selling on eBay for years. Only recently (about 1 year ago) have I been introduced to the search of vintage clothing. It all started with a friend that is a musician. He was always looking for vintage '70s & '80s t-shirts and western shirts. I found that I really enjoyed 'the hunt' and continued searching after he moved away. For the most part I have stuck with t-shirts, western shirts and some shoes. Mostly identifying 70's and 80's styles. More recently I've been finding sweaters. The more I've learned on my journey the more exciting the hunt becomes! I look forward to being able to offer more in the future, but I'm very happy to have found this board!
