Vintage Reebok Tennis Shoes?

Post by jimmyj »

Can anyone ID these badboys? Old school Reebok logo - with what looks to be a cross between adidas stripes and a nike swoosh. I assumed they were 70s - and for Tennis...

Anyone?

Tried to contact Reebok, but they don't have a corporate historian or someone with that kind of knowledge supposedly. Maybe since I contacted them through their retail customer support, I approached it wrong. Thought maybe a reverse image search would help as well but nothing. Either they're super rare, not as popular like the 80s hi-top Reebok shoes, or they're a knock off.

Did Reebok make bowling shoes?

Ah cool, what era are they? I know Asics Onitsuka Tigers (the shoes Kiddo wears in Kill Bill) are pretty sought after in a vintage sense as well. But ya, like most instances with vintage sportswear Nike > all.

Look the same, knock-offs? or maybe the logo wore off:

Interesting, you think they've got the era down? From what I've read Reebok started in the late 50s.
