Nirvana Sliver Tees

Post by chadacadabra »

Been trying to buy a Nirvana Sliver tee recently. I notice they come on a variety of blanks - Giant, Stedman, Anvil, Wild Oats, Tultex, Tee Jays and more. Sold prices range from $90 to $350. Does anybody have any insight as to what determines the value?
I know condition and measurements definitely play a factor but I figure the tee brand must have some significance.
I've noticed the same with In Utero, Nevermind tees etc., this is just the one I'm focused on at the moment.

It seems to just be the variance of auction prices and different BINs. I cant find any rhyme or reason to it. Its one of those hot tees driven by celeb fashion that fluctuate. The value is realized then everyone floods the market trying to get in on the action.

And by the way what the eff is that #falseperception Barney's tee? Another ridiculous rebranding like Fear of God?

If you're after the tee - be patient - you'll get on the lower end of that scale for sure.

Saw that too and thought it was absurd, will never understand why someone would pay hundreds over market value for something that is rebranded.

Originally I thought the Wild Oats ones may be the least desired as one had sold at $90 but I see another that sold at $150. I'm certain I'll be able to get one under $200 but am looking for measurements that will fit me really well which can be more difficult.
