Bootleg tee tags

Post by Floppo »

Hi,
First time here, thank you for the beautiful website.
I am looking for info about the brand « bootleg tees » made in Thailand.
It seems they are doing single stitch nowadays.
They are an easy find here in old Europe.
Are they worth anything ?
Here’s some pics. Hopefully they put a date on this one, if not I would have fall into the trap.

These are all still for sale via certain online stores. These are slightly more respectful than other Thai stuff because they aren't trying to pass themselves off as actual vintage tees, where people end up getting ripped off. Might have some value in another 16 years...? Right now I think they sell for $25-35 brand new.

Thank you for the reply,

What do you think about the fact they are single stitch ?
Do they have bought a big stock of old single stitch ? Or they kept the machines to do them?

They have the machinery to do it on new tees.
