I'm going to be so honest and say I have very little hope that this is authentic.

Last night I made a very impulsive purchase from someone who had no idea what he was selling. I mean, it's very much a Red Hot Chili Peppers shirt but he had it tagged as "Ken Carson" (a rapper) So that's the first red flag.

Secondly, it has no tag. Like the tag was ripped out. So that's very,,,, yeah.

The print looks okay. BUT it has no back print and there is no copyright on the shirt. (I didn't notice that until like 10 minutes ago.)

And the last thing about it (as I don't have the measurements because I haven't received the shirt yet, I'll update with the measurements once I have it) is the white stitching.

I've only seen a few other ones like it with this color stitch on eBay and they go for anywhere from $50-$150 but when I look into these listings, the tag is either missing or so faded that you can't read it. And in the descriptions I've noticed a common theme of people not knowing what year it is from, or who made it.

I feel so stupid right now. Good thing is I didn't pay a lot for it.

Hey, you win some you lose some. I don't have much faith in this one. Double stitch with white thread, no back print. No tag. Too many red flags. Best advice would be to try to scout out another one - I did a quick look and couldn't find one with that white thread. Likely some sort of modern throwback.
