Advice on my Defunkd Shop
Can some of you vets take a look at my shop listings and advise me if my pricing is too ambitious? Harsh criticisms welcome!
Re: Advice on my Defunkd Shop
Looks reasonable to me. Some of the $19.99 late 90s campy tees could be dropped down to $9.99.
Fatandyz seems to have the knack for pricing tees to move...check out his prices and compare.
I've been programmed to overprice everything from my days on eBay...trying to get out of that habit!

Re: Advice on my Defunkd Shop
Thanks, Jimmy. I'm going to take a stroll through Fatandyz and see what's what.
Like you, I still have an 'bay mindset *sigh*

Re: Advice on my Defunkd Shop
I go through all my stuff occasionally and adjust some of the prices. I'll look at what other people are selling similar shirts for. Some things I keep priced higher though. Just because they're shirts that I enjoy having and that's how much it costs to get them out of my collection. I don't mind if I'm sitting on some of them for a while. Mostly my biker shirts.
How many sales have you made so far? I think I'm up to 5 or 6.
EDIT: nevermind I'm up to 4... haha

Re: Advice on my Defunkd Shop
Yeah, I'm going to talk a walk through my shop and start discounting some stuff. As much as I might think something's worth X amount of $, it's really on worth what the market will pay for it. I'm not dropping anything on that George Carlin t-shirt though. I'm hard-pressed to part with it
So far, 4 shirts. I'm ordering some cards from vistaprint with my shop logo & link to include in my 'bay packages.

Re: Advice on my Defunkd Shop
Thanks for the nod Jimmy. I don't have anything special I do for setting prices. It's always a guessing game for me. I have limited time and space for shirts - so I want to move them quickly. I can't have shirts sit around too long because I'm always looking for new stuff.jimmyj wrote:Looks reasonable to me. Some of the $19.99 late 90s campy tees could be dropped down to $9.99.

Sometimes I'll drop the price very low on shirts I've had sitting around for a long time. Every now and then, I'll start pulling old stock out in preparation to auction off as one lot. These shirts always seem to start selling individually before I set up the auction.
Re: Advice on my Defunkd Shop
I've been thinking about selling all my 20 years and older Harley shirts in a lot. I sell newer ones in lots on ebay and they always sell.
