Black Flag show t-shirt. Historically rare...or just cool?

Post by marshalstacks »

In an exhaustive web hunt, I've been unable to unearth anything official to authenticate this Black Flag, Wasted Youth, Cuckoo's Nest show t-shirt. Which happens to be the first show that Rollins debuted fronting the band.
I can't Imagine the club was selling these t-shirts the night of the show.?
Nevertheless...this one has all the hallmarks of a t-shirt from that period. It's just a matter of who, where and when...and how much?
Please let me know.

Nice. Ive never seen before. The tag doesnt ring any bells either - but certainly has 80s like qualities. From what a gathered speaking from Bad Otis Link about the tees he did for punk shows - totally possible they were sold there. But could also easily be printed much later. Sorry - stumped - Ill post it on Instagram later to see if I can get other feedback on it.

I've owned a few Duke shirts...all were late 80's if I believe. Perhaps a member of one of the backup bands had a few shirts printed with the flyer on the front. I have a friend in a band who also owns makes t-shirts on the side who's done this for other bands on occasion. Cool shirt, and I would guess it's from that era, but it's hard to be 100% certain.
