Wu Tang Forever

Post by lord ched »

Found this at the thrift shop downstairs (which may or may not be closing forever on Saturday), and I so seldom chance on hip-hop shirts that I felt obliged to put it up. Question: Wu Tang aren't that old (though 13 years old for the album is just the bare edge of scarcity), and eBay is lousy with repros and bootlegs- all current. But they are a lionized group and I didn't see any real vintage up, so I'm wondering if I might have struck the motherlode... or not. Plus, no copyright, but the shirt is made in Canada. What are the prospects for this?

Wu jumped the shark with that double album. It even included some crappy "interactive" shockwave CD-ROM you could play on your Windows 95 based Gateway Multimedia PC (you know, the one with the big speakers hanging of the sides of the CRT monitor?).

Now this one is classic! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... gory=28022" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

All 1990s hip hop is coming around slowly...that decade had the last remains of decent stuff. 2000 and beyond, not so good.
