Various NBA T Shirts NWT Deadstock?

Post by Vintagevdub »

I just picked up about 100 vintage NBA t-shirts.
I believe most of them are from between 1986-1990.

They are all NEW, Most have original tags, None have been worn.

I am looking for a little help on price. Some very cool stuff here (at least I think).

Would I use the term "Deadstock" When describing these?

Thank You in Advance.

Nice score! The caricature ones especially! Yup...pristine tags and with stickers/tags call em deadstock or NOS new old stock. Where did you get them?

Loaded some more pics.
I found them at a local yard sale.

I will be listing them for sale gradually. I would love to wear them but vintage Large would be a little snug.

Any ideas as price range?

Thank You again.

Some of the caricature prints $50-100. You'll get at least $20 for the most basic ones.

Now is the best time to put them up - season is in full swing - all teams still have a chance and it's holiday season. If I were you I would hustle and get 'em up - and have a massive auction set started at the beginning of december.

Unless you want to sit on them at fixed prices, you'll probably earn more over the long term - but not sure the maintenance and time will be worth it.

Thank you for response.

I'm not in a big hurry. I will start listing them here and there.
Understand the holiday season being best, but too much else on my plate.

I am pretty stoked with the find though. Pretty amazing none of them had been worn.

I posted a reply on your intro post, not realizing the shirts were so old. As Jimmy says, they should do well, esp. the old logos and HOF'ers like Bird (Isiah Thomas, maybe not so much). Nice find.
