What’s not to love about this fantasy adventure? Machine guns, martial arts and mullets reign supreme as Jack Burton navigates his way through Little China looking for a green eyed gal. Surprisingly Big Trouble did little at the box office, but has gone on to be one of the biggest cult films out of the 1980s. This t-shirt is official promotional swag – a replica of the tank Jack wears in the flick, it’s not some modern day knock-off that has Lo Pan rolling around in his grave.

Ha! Awesome! I saw big troub in the theater…it cost me something like $2.25 for the matinee. (i of course had to walk to the theater, up hill both ways, in the snow, with shoes made of cardboard) Worth every nickel, although, perhaps a more apt title could have been “big trouble in little trousers”…check the 50 second mark in the trailer above for confirmation.

This is one of my favorite movies from the 1980s. Loved Jack Burton and the Pork Chop Express. Classic!

I had that tank. Exact same one. Bought it for like 10 bucks at 69 Vintage maybe 5 years ago. Gave it to my pal Sam Roberts. If I had one takeback in my life, that move might be the one……
