Nike Air Pegasus 1989 OG VS Retro

This year Nike re-released the Pegasus 1989. Back then, the Pegasus were “the” running shoes in the days, used by professional and amateurs.

Twenty years after the first release, Nike celebrated their 20th birthday by releasing a retro-version.

these actually look like the original, sometimes the retro looks a bit off. the modern swoosh isn’t as dope.

For the record, yes, this quiz was tough. In the modern age of vintage tee counterfeiting, we can no longer just eye-ball items - it's not that easy. Counterfeit brands and bogus prints are getting better and better. Authentication now requires time, research, and especially making careful comparisons to known originals.
