Nice Genesis tee. However, it’s not a Genesis AND Chicago tee…it’s cooler than that. It’s a very limited promoter issue shirt from when Genesis played the International Amphitheater in Chicago, IL (the place that Elvis wore his gold lame suit in concert for the first time). Viva Chicago!

WOW! That price on that Misfits is insane!!! The only legit Misfits shirts were screened by the band (sold either through mail order or direct from the band) and were not these mass produced shirts (Danzig did license some designs out to Brockum in the mid 90s) that seem to be gaining in price on eBay. Maybe I’m just a purist but a licensed shirt doesn’t seem near as cool to me.

Licensed and mass produced?? Have you ever seen a crimson ghost shirt with a fiend club print on the back? Neither have I, and i’ve been heavy into the misfits since the early 80s. This shirt was purchased from Danzig (i believe they were printing them in the van outside the club, but may be getting my stories mixed up) at a Los Angeles concert circa 1983. Fangs!

I have come across several variations of the Crimson Ghost design with varied backs. After looking at the photo where you can see the back print on the inside it does seem like a more “budget” printing. I didn’t see your provenance in the original auction, sorry. I’ve heard the stories of them printing outside of shows and have always wondered how they were able to dry the ink, etc. Cool shirt none the less, and seems like a fair price to me if original from a show.
