Vintage 1980s Kennebec River Whatever Race T-shirt. Shirt is in very good condition. Soft and thin. The Whatever Race was a summer festival through the 1980s in Central Maine. The race involved self built floats racing 7 miles down the Kennebec River; From the state capital of Augusta to the finish line in Gardiner. If it floated, it was in the race. Water fights and Beer went hand and hand during the race. The race ended soon after the end of the decade; most likely to avoid lawsuits.
