One time I saw Hot Water Music at a spot in New Bedford called Reflections. It was definitely one of the most off the wall shows I’ve seen. I mean, I’ve seen plenty of hard mosh, parade of stage dives, crazy gigs, but this one had a different vibe. The lineup was Smacking Isaiah, All Chrome, Grade and Hot Water Music. By the reaction of the crowd, you would have thought the line up was Chain Of Strength, Bold and Youth Of Today. Kids were going, no shit, bonkers. Stage dives, moshing, … just getting ill. It was intense. Needless to say, it was a great gig. HWM killed it. It may have even been a gig in support of their Forever And Counting album as it was in 1998. Two nights before that New Bedford gig, they played Worcester with Errortype 11, Grade and CONVERGE, and still, the New Bedford gig was zanier. Crazy, right? Grab this Forever And Counting tee from soulcraft1977.
