When Malfunction records re-released the American Nightmare demo on vinyl (it was previously only available on tape), they printed up some shirts to go along with it. I think they pressed a bunch of different colors, and like always, kids were stepping over their own mothers to get their hand on the vinyl. As for the shirt, I’ve never seen anyone with one.
It’s obvious that Malfunction wanted to create a tee that was different from the filled in original version. But something is lost in the translation to outline. The details are missing and it ends up looking like a weird Ed Hardy tee. Check the original for a comparison.
Hell, even this colored in version doesn’t look too weird (A $40 BIN price is a little odd to me, but hey, can’t knock that hustle). I’ve actually seen at least 3 tattoos of this design and color.
Maybe I should call up Mike Lussier and get one for myself.
