This is a nice cross post to remind you to read ComicNoize.com.
As I recall, here’s the story of Scud: The Disposable Assassin.
It’s the future, and robot assassins can be purchased out of vending machines. They are given one task, and after completing that task, they are supposed to self destruct. Somehow, like Johnny 5, this Scud decides he has more important shit to do with his life then self destruct. He busts up his target but does NOT kill. He then spends the next however many issues being a hired gun. The funds gained from these errands go to pay the hospital bill of the original target. You see how that works? Pretty cool little book.
Now, this Bane shirt came about because Bedard is a big fan of the series. This is a great twist on the usual Bane logo tee for the front, and adding a page graphic onto the back is an excellent look. I’m sure Rob Schrab would appreciate.
