I think everyone recognizes Michael Jordan as the official Big Dawg of the Chicago Bulls (hell, the whole NBA, really). But who comes after him? Who’s second best from the late 80s, early 90s Bulls? Dennis Rodman with his rainbow hair, ridiculous tattoos and giant piercings? Or Scottie Pippen, clean shaven, go to man? For my money, it wasn’t flash, it was Pippen who gets the nod. Dude was a great defensive player, made the all-star team more than half a dozen times and has a cool half dozen championship rings. There are four retired jerseys hanging at the United Center. One of them is his. Pippen was formally inducted into the NBA hall of fame weeks ago. No slouch. Granted, Rodman had his moments. Before he flipped his lid, mind you. The 89 & 90 seasons were two of his best, and he got rings for them (plus 3 more later in the 90s). But his wild style image wasn’t for me. Madonna, Carmen Electra, reality tv, … PASS. No thank you. Keep it classy, keep it Pippen.
As for Harms Way, this shirt is fitting for a crew straight out of Chicago. Currently bcox631 has the away version up. But if you are more of a home town guy, head over to the Harms Way bigcartel site and grab the black one (maybe, says Sold Out, but there is a note about XLs .. don’t know). Either way, you can’t really go wrong.
