… begins with a single step. This quote is attributed to an ancient poet, Lao Tzu, who is sometimes known as Laozi. 6th century BC. So way back. This person (at one point, I’m sure this individual was probably a person) is an honored figure in Taoism, and is held as a deity by modern Daoists. The translations for the phrase are a little different and in some, the journey begins with THE FIRST STEP! I’m not sure who, if anyone, in The First Step was a practicing Taoist, but the saying rings true regardless. I can think of at least 3 religions practiced by the members of TFS. Who knew these boys were such holy rollers?<\/p>\n

Head over to speak_out’s<\/a> auctions. I would consider this dude to have the 2nd or 3rd best First Step collection. Behind Mr Dylan Press, of course. And possibly some of the dudes in the band. Honestly, I’m not sure how deep their collections are at this point. But speak_out<\/a> definitely has gems.<\/p>\n
