Growing up, my parents were very against MTV. Apparently it has too many scantily clad ladies on it. But in the end, my brother and I figured out a system with which to watch for parents coming home AND MTV at the same time. We would set up a stool in the dining room near the front door. From this vantage, a person could both watch the driveway and the tv. It was a smart gig. I’ll never forget that Great White video.<\/p>\n

This video struck me at the time. I’m not sure if I was aware that Henry Rollins was also the guy from Black Flag. But the video captured my attention. I’m sure it wasn’t a crazy multi million dollar affair (obviously). In fact, it was probably more like a shoe string budget. But it did the job.<\/p>\n
