DFJ and I were in our first real hc band together: the short lived Turned Away, which was composed of DFJ, myself, and ex-members of Outlast<\/a>. We didn’t do much; 3 shows (2 of which were far from full sets), 1 demo, and 1 unreleased cover of Hold Your Ground for the All Systems Go comp. This was a cover that DFJ and I actually did not want to record; our preferred choice was Hard Stance’s Discrepancy, the practicing of which usually devolved rehersals into attic room mosh pits to repeat playings of the actual song. DFJ has had my Hard Stance cassette ever since.<\/p>\n

Moving on, we come to this Supertouch<\/a> “The Earth Is Flat” tee…<\/p>\n

This one makes me think of DFJ for one simple reason: one of the few surviving DBNO pictures I have is of DFJ rocking this shirt while playing guitar:<\/p>\n
