I’m not even gonna bother posting the back of this Slapshot shirt being sold by janvanderdam<\/a>, because it doesn’t do anything to save it.<\/p>\n

I very definitely remember someone describing Slapshot’s aesthetic in this era as “cartoon nonsense” in the pages of Extent (I believe it was in reference to the Same Mistake\/Might Makes Right artwork being one of the 10 best hc record covers, but later they descended into said nonsense), and it’s hard to disagree.<\/p>\n

(Apologies to Josh over at Vinyl Noize<\/a>, as I know he loves all things Slapshot, be it sketchy hockey mask image or cartoon doggie.)<\/p>\n
