WTF? Ouch, Bad Move, Dude

I hate when sellers attempt to sell memories not merch. Such is the case with only_one_sky. Please check out the opening bid of this item then come back … Ok, so a few things. This jacket is from 1996 and unworn. That’s impressive, I suppose. BUT, this is a jacket for the band Indecision. It’s not for Madball, Murphy’s Law or Mouthpiece. I’m not saying Indecision wasn’t influential or relatively big (for the region), but they aren’t the sort of band that seems to command such BIG opening bids. How can anyone even think that opening bid is a good starting point? As far as the first bad move, “I have refused many lucrative offers (some of them for literally hundreds of dollars) by people wanting to purchase this jacket over the years but have turned down each and every one.” Oooffff, bad move. Should have taken these people up on this.

Or what about this one? “I have personally been offered hundreds of dollars by members of Indecision to purchase this hoodie and have turned down the offers.” Ouch, double zing. Another amazing opening bid amount …

And finally, a tshirt. This one seems to have a much more “reasonable” opening bid …

Again, I wish this guy good luck, but next time, he may want to consider not selling memories but merch*.

* If these do sell for their opening bid prices, I’ll eat my hat.
