Black BOLD shirt. Rare? yes. 1 of a kind? no.

Here is an interesting one for you youth crew collectors. You can find the standard BOLD shirt in a variety of colors. One of the best is the black shirt with white ink.

What is stated here in this auction is “one of a kind” and “misprint”. One of these items is true. Yes, this item is one of a kind because someone tailored this to a small. Seriously? Suck it up and wear it baggy. Layer up. Tuck it in. Do your part.

On to the misprint part. I have owned about 5 of these through the years, and the fronts have always faded to gray. Some more, some less, but always gray. I don’t think the seller is trying to mislead in any way. Seems to be more the case that these do not show up for sale very often.

The first 2 pictures are of the ebay item for sale, and the last 2 are the same style shirt from my collection. This shirt seems to be legit to me, just small, and not one of a kind.

Maybe the seller says this is a misprint because that’s what’s said about the shirt in the shirt database on HYE: “This shirt is supposedly a misprint. Note the GREY print on front, white print on back. No further information is available”…
