I’m hoping that @Guav or @Buske have some information on these shoes from toashessaysso because they ARE BLOWING MY FUCKING MIND. “Hardline approved!”
I know JNCOs were the denim of choice for vegan straight edge warriors in the mid 90s, but I didn’t realize that the JNCO company realized this too. Seriously, the hang tag is blowing my mind. Chip or Justin, you got any info on these?? I may just pick these up for the novelty of having them. Such a weird piece of merch … 1997, yo.
holy shit.
Wow…
Gross.
Yeah they’re pretty rad, I held on to them for so long solely as a conversation piece and the tag is definitely framed haha.
They were sold at journeys! And came in blue and brown. But were only out for a minute.
i definitely remember seeing a pair of these for sale at foot locker in ’97. for some reason i incorrectly remembered them as being made by vans. so whenever i asked anyone or tried to research them i could never find any info. must have missed that hardline tag too. so crazy…
Yo Toashes
Are you selling the tag framed too?
Great item!
Of course the tag comes with it, that’s kinda the best part. Well it’s a toss up between that and the guy on the bottom with the “str8 edge” knuckle tat, noshing it up
Toashes: I sent you a message on Ebay
I owned many. Many. Pairs of JNCOs. I never knew they made shoes.
If these were big enough for my big ass feet, I’d be all over these.
Holy crap. I totally have a pair of these in storage. I forgot I had them until this post! haha.
Trips to the mall were made just to laugh at these. Should have coped just for the legacy. Amazingly awful. The most fame ‘hardline’ ever had outside hardcore.
I will admit to having owned one pair of JNCO shorts, but I have never in my life seen these before.
JNCO had a footing line during the mid to late 1990’s and tried again during the early 2000s. There were kids, women’s and men’s styles. I have a pair listed on Ebay right now. I even have the pair and others like this site mentions.
