Another day and another batch of Sick Of It All gear up for sale by seller bnahoum1974. First up is this baseball jersey(or vest if you will). While I appreciate the quality and work that went into making this, I have to wonder what was the inspiration for this colorway. Maybe someone from the Sick Of It All crew can elaborate for us.
I know it’s going to disappoint you guys, but here is another tour shirt WITHOUT tour dates on the back. Personally I don’t mind this. Hey it’s hardcore and shows get canceled and things change on the fly, especially in pre internet times. It was probably a good idea to leave the dates off the back so you could continue to sell any remaining shirts. This is a nice looking shirt, and I appreciate the sleeve print.
“Vest” in the UK doesn’t replace the word “jersey,” it refers to sleeveless garments we call tank tops and basketball jerseys ….. I think they call stuff like this a “jumper,” but I’m not certain. Weirdos.
Just got an email from the SOIA vest-seller. He wanted to know whether I’d received the vest. Real talk.
And did you get the vest?? Would look sharp with a cummerbund.
as the resident englishmen here I’d refer to this as a baseball shirt (as it is button up) or jersey (as its a sports type garment!).
it is not, as Guav states, a vest. a vest has no sleeves!
The 1st time I ever went to the wetlands was for Killing Time, Breakdown and Darkside NYC…Anyways, One thing that sticks out in my mind from that day is seeing Toby from H20 standing out front w/ that SOIA baseball jersey on AND a pair of red (possibly cross color) overalls. L@Lz! Oh, The 90’s.
