Here’s another one from manualdave, and once again he brings the details:
Biohazard played at Narcissus in Kenmore Square in Boston on 7/5/1990, with Temporary Insanity, Minimal Brain Dysfunction and Experiments in Fear opening. According to my notes it was about 2 weeks before Biohazard released their first record on Maze. And I paid $12 for the shirt.
Having heard many a tall tale about early 90s Biohazard shows in Boston (usually involving mic stands and skulls), I have to admit: I kind of wish he had some more details than that. Knowing that he paid $12 for this in 1990 is interesting though, and I’m sure if there were message boards in 1990, they would have been alight with complaining. In retrospect, given what old Biohazard gear sells for on eBay now, $12 should have been considered a steal.
Yea man. Biohazard shows in the early 90’s were NO joke. I seen some wild ones. One time I lied to my mom so I could go see Biohazard, Onyx, Dog Eat Dog and Clutch at Irving Plaza for the “Shades Of Grey” video shoot. There was SO much thuggishness in the building at that show. EACH NYHC super hero was there. Ezac, Harley, SOB, Hoya, Toby H20, Minus, Etc. Fuck. I was terrified / in awe. #Shinfo
