Reason Enough was from Boston Mass. A mid 90s hardcore outfit fronted by no other than Ian Larrabee.
Sadly, I have very little info on Reason Enough. I’m pretty sure they have very few releases out there. There is the Awakening EP and I’m pretty sure there is a split too. Can’t rightfully recall who the split is with. Sorry.
If Garvey reads this blog, clue us in, brother. I can’t think of anyone else who would rightfully know. Except maybe Jimmy Flynn (or obv Ian).
I may be having lunch with Stu today. Maybe I can get some Reason Enough stories or a Blackbelt story or two.
Not much to tell here. This was one of four total designs, (I think) we did. The first shirt was before I joined the band and way ahead of its time– old english font “reason enough” on the front set as a stomach rocker. This was the second shirt: basic impact font just like our stickers. One shirt was a tattoo art drawing based on the demo cover art. The other shirt was a basic everyman pocket print design (there might have been an actual pocket on the shirt too) with a larger RE in a rock formation on the back. Just like the band musically, our shirts leave a lot to be desired. Releases: 4 song demo (atrocious- although it got a decent review in Hardware much to my surprise- called the vox Killing Time-esque- so psyched), the Awakening 7″, a song from the 7″ is also on the split with With One Intent (featuring the current New Lows drummer), and a euro friend put out a live set from WERS as a cassette release.
