Brian says – yesterday was my day off. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer day. Got all my chores done and had a super quiet day. It was great. Sun was out, vegan food was devoured. But then, the afternoon was getting on, and the clouds were rolling in. They talked about lightning and storms. Makes me think of this shirt from lr6988. Definitely a good way to liven up any afternoon. Still looking GREAT 21 years later. 21 years. Think about that. Of course, no lightning or thunder ever rolled through. It was not brought down.
Jay says – This is a pretty good shirt. Not as cool as a west coast weekend but this is def Casali approved as it is lacking the 3d logo(which I LOVE). This thing looks to be in pretty minty condition too. My favorite thing about old rev shirts is the little rev logo in the graphic. I know considering how much I hate the bulldog, crazy right. The thing is that the rev logos are always so unobtrusive that they look like they are part of the design itself. Never too big, never 100 times on like 3 out of 4 sides of the shirt, just clean and simple. They look like the shirt would look shitty without them!
I expect the price will get stupid high because people seem to have either a lot of extra money in these troubling economical times or very low self esteem that they need to have certain items to make themselves feel good. Im no judge so I dont care which it is, thats for you to decide ;)
Hmmm, questionable whether this is even OG. The sellers description is way too vague, just a simple acknowledgment of the condition. Nothing crazy. Normally people who have such a ‘historic’ or ‘rare’ piece of merch they’ll discuss it briefly or hell even tag it better than just ‘Hardcore tshirt sXe – Judge (bringin it down)’ Also I think the pocket print is supposed to be somewhat slanted, if you know what I’m saying. The OG is printed on Russell Athletics brand, too, I think.
And the condition itself, my god, looks like it was printed yesterday. Too crisp. All of the Judge ‘Storming Through…’ tees I’ve ever seen are beat to shit — like they’ve been buried in dirt for a few years — and dug back up.
Basically what I’m saying is: please don’t bid on it. ;)
