Who Dares Wins.
Path Of Resistance. Good band. The shirt has seen better days, of course, but still a good look for a good band. My brother had the longsleeve with Victory bull dog explosion. This one appears to just have the one on the sleeve. Not too bad.
Some people found this band to be a little over the top, but I dug them. They were one of the first strict hardcore bands I really listened to. Never saw them, but always wanted to. Anyone know what percentage is still edge?
In that lineup, Mike Riccardi, Kris Weichmann and Shane Durgee are edge casualties.
However, like Menudo – The PATH keeps it real by importing edge members.
The current line up is 100% Vegan Straight Edge -DJ Rose, Karl, Bulldog, Scott, Earth Dennis, and “hella” Jon Dennison are and have been, down since day one.
“this world, won’t defeat me!”
“There isn’t three singers here… there’s seven hundred and fifty”.
DxJx Rose, quote from the sold out first show.
Hard!
Of the original lineup—DJ Rose, Karl Beuchner, Ian Bulldog, Scott Crouse, Mike Riccardi, Kris Weichmann and Erick Edwards—5 of the 7 original members are still straight edge (and vegan, although Path was intended as a purely SxE band, not a vegan SxE band).
Shane Durgee was not in the Path Of Resistance—he was in the promo photo, “but didn’t learn bass fast enough” so he never played in the band at all—neither studio nor live, so his edge status is irrelevant to this discussion.
Wow, never heard that factoid about Shane Durgee. That’s an awesome tidbit.
Yeah, Durgee didn’t know how to play bass at all—I guess they/he decided he’d learn overnight. Didn’t exactly work out that way haha
…and Guav never played drums in Green Rage although he is credited in the liner notes.
He can, however, play a mean air-mouth drum set.
