Do you know Unrestrained? If you don’t, you are missing out.
Not only do these dudes play that 90s style I know you all love, but at least one of the dudes happens to post on the xStuck In The Pastx blog. That’s reason enough to track this band down. If you like what they are posting, you will like what Unrestrained is playing.
And don’t get it twisted. It isn’t solidly mid 90s worship. Nah, they do their own thing. And I can dig it. You can too. Hit up their myspace page, and buy that merch. Or. Or. Or. Buy by Stevie Fallis and get songs from Unrestrained, Bane, Grade & Between Earth And Sky.
Shit. I just found out there is an Unrestrained from Portland (who I discussed above) and an Unrestrained from Vermont. I have no idea which band this shirt belongs to. Oh jeez. What a mess. Someone help me out here.
I am looking at the Unrestrained PDX store and I don’t see it on there, and I think I remember an Unrestrained VT song with similar lyrics to this shirt. I’ll email the dudes in VT and see what’s up?
this is def a shirt from the vermont band. we gigged with them last year and they had this for sure. also gigged with the pdx version in pdx. i heard that they’ve talked to eachother and have no problem both using the same name, weird.
They should probably settle their differences with a shred a thon!
there’s no differences to settle, they are both fine confusing the world.
i play in unrestrained from vermont, that is our shirt, the lyrics are from the song “brook rd.”
jim- are you jim from battle??? sup!
the two unrestrained’s have known each other since pretty much the beginning, oddly enough, we started at just about the same time.
Brian, thanks for the props in this post! We also might do a split with the other Unrestrained at some point just to add to everyone’s confusion.
Derek, Justin, please fucking do a Unrestrained/Unrestrained split.
Oh man, an unrestrained/unrestrained split release would be GREAT. I’m thinking a dual full US tour would also be excellent.
Jim, I know there is no b33f, I just wanted to talk about a shred a thon.
