American Nightmare – AN Zip Up

This hood WAS the hot shit of 2002, 2003. Kids were murdering each other to get one of these.

I think it’s ok, but it never wowed me. I always appreciated the non-zip hooded sweatshirt with the harvard-esque logo. Black with red and white ink. Good look.

What about the time Bane was going to release a limited hood with velcro “B” and “E?” That way you could support either band depending on your mood. Good gag.

that zip-up was so crucial back then, never liked it though. kids indeed went nuts over this. wasn’t this one of the first bands to do a zip-up ever?
american nightmare might indeed be > give up the ghost, but the give up the ghost full length (down till we’re underground?) is not a bad record at all, give it a chance.

The first hc band I remember seeing with a zip hoodie was Converge. It was the “sun man” design they used forever, embroidered on the breast on a black sweatshirt. It predated the AN one by 2-3 years. I think it was 1999 or 2000 when they had them.

Embroidered? I don’t recall those at all. I recall some screen printed ones though.
