Ending Soon – The Suicide File

Seller crushedonyou has what I believe is the first Suicide File shirt up for grabs. This was an awesome era for The Suicide File. They weren’t too huge, kids weren’t drooling all over them, and it was definitely all for fun. No stress, no mess. The demo grabs you and isn’t even overwhelmed by political undertones. Kissinger What?

This shirt also came in white with black ink. And could have been sold at this gig.

November 2, 2001 @Mass Art Boston Mass: Bane (record release), Reach The Sky, Suicide File (first show), Stop and Think

Hot gig, no doubt. Also, I hit up google to see if I could find any pics of this gig, and stumbled on this link.

Protest flyer made by “Moshtrogen” in reaction to the flyer for Bane’s record release show. Handed out Nov 2nd 2002 at Mass Art outside the show. (back)

I desperately want to see this picture. But it says it’s private. WACK. Also, I cannot for the life of me recall what was so controversial about the flyer art. Shit, someone hook up some pics.

Wasn’t Suicide File’s first show when they were added last minute to the Dillinger 4 show at Mass Art? I probably could just ask Weinberg instead of posting this here.

The flyer had a tattoo style topless pin up girl on it I believe.

SUICIDE FILE two days in a row. A one day Bobb Mac Fest with TEAR IT UP, BOTTOM LINE and STOP AND THINK, then the next day in the Shumsky basement with SAY GOODBYE and what might have been the first RNR show. Anyone? Solid weekend…
