Flex Your Head

Here’s a harDCore classic outta France, courtesy of Tom Of Finland mags (but enough about those as I don’t want to blow up Morgado’s spot.)

OK, so the opening bid on this is pretty high, but it’s cool that he still has the original letter with the N 4th order form. This is one of the most oft-bootlegged shirts in hardcore history (I’m wearing one right now coincidentally), so it’s cool to actually see an original for sale. N 4th was Jeff Nelson’s t-shirt side business, as you can see from the flyer he did Minor Threat, Flex Your Head and Rites of Spring designs, and he also did Egg Hunt shirts later on. I could use one of those ROS shirts if anyone’s got one kicking around.

That’s cool to see the letter and envelope and ordering sheet. Would love a ROS shirt, how many different designs did they have, what does this one look like?

Very funny Coochie Moochie. Next time you want to bid on something, it’s getting posted as soon as I see it.

i may be wrong, but i think that this dischord shirt is not from 85, more like the early 90’s reprint done by jeff nelson.

Yup, late 80’s or early 90’s. See the ad for the Minor Threat sheep shirt with green logo.

tag on the shirt looks early 90s too

  6. Brett Hardware says:

The originals said “harDCore”, the early ’90’s reprints from JN said “DC RECORDS”.
