I did not make up that title. Morgado did not make it up either, though I’m sure he wish he had. No, sir. It wasn’t any of us. It was direct from punkaag. I’m not sure I agree with the statement either. Yes, they formed in 1988, certainly before the term metalcore existed. But you can’t tell me the demo and first LP are “metalcore.” Fuck no. Cleveland Straight Edge, stand up! But in 2000, when they were doing the Integrity 2000 gigs, you could convince me they were metalcore. This shirt was picked up at the Ohio More Than Music Fest. Not in 1999 or 2000, but rather in 2003. Odd that it features album artwork from the 1997 Seasons In The Size Of Days. It’s certainly more toned down than a lot of the Integrity merch we’ve been seeing out of the Holy Terror shop lately, but it’s still a lot. Or maybe it’s just the repeated forearm print. I’m not sure. The choice is yours.
I must disagree with you here, sir.
Listen to “Harder They Come” off ICOS, “Darkness” off the GOTU cassingle and “Wings Tear” off FTWFT LP and imagine hearing that in ’89-’91.
Metal.
I like this era merch way better than all the over the top nazi/magic/manson/offensive collage shit out now
I mail ordered an “Integrity Long-Sleeve” from dark empire back in 1997, and this is what I got in the mail. I thought I was going to get an Integrity long sleeve shirt, but I got this freaky ass shirt that says in real small print in black under Dwid “Free Charles Manson”. I gave it away pronto.
Those pictures of them on the shirt and on the inside of this record are HILARIOUS. I think Dwid is even wearing black contacts. Great record tho but yea, Those “profile” pics of all of the members are laughable.
