Jaguarz. Perhaps the most underrated and overlooked Lockin Out band of that era. It’s hard to stand in the shadows of Mental, Stop And Think, Righteous Jams, Justice, DUMPTRUCK, … Real hard.
But this band wasn’t made up of slouches, not even close. Owen Black of Trumbull Island fame lead this crew. Rich Perusi of The Dedication / Sex Positions played drums. Steb from The First Step joined on bass. Nervous Luke, currently in Waste Management, got lots of air with his axe and Mr. Jeff Pickett rounded out the crew. They toured, they moshed, they dived. Crew was tight.
But since they only released a demo and a track on Sweet Vision comp, it seems they have been easily ignored. For shame, people! That demo is awesome. It got many, many spins in my cars tape deck. And I didn’t have a lot of tapes in my car. ON PURPOSE. I only wanted GOOD stuff in my car for road trips and pre-gig car mosh (along with the Stop And Think demo, Rampage demo, …).
Great band, cool shirts. This is an early one. It also came on white. Little people, get into it!
I’d suggest buying all of littlexlynn’s auctions. Killing Time & Raw Deal tees aren’t cheap, you know! Good luck with those auctions, Lynn.
its so true! i need to fund my killing time love.
