Earlier today, Morgado dubbed Monday, Monday Metal. That’s all well in good, but seriously, the dude posted a Manowar shirt. That’s some wizard and sorcery metal. Crushing metal, no doubt but still, dragons and goblins and shit. I prefer to stick with more classic stoner metal. Give me some Black Sabbath. Or in the instance of this auction from 95blubrd, give me Ozzy. Dude has obviously lost it. And he had lost it a long time ago. Well before this 1992 tour with Slaughter and Ugly Kid Joe, I’m sure. Jeez, what a tour. How did this tour NOT leave the northeast? And look at those locations. Saratoga Springs? Were they racing ponies on the side? Does that really say East Troy? Jeez louiz. What a wacky tour.
Now the best part about this auction is that not only does it contain an excellent unmetal colored shirt (honestly, what metal shirts are NOT black?), it also contains a tie dyed Metallica World Tour 1994 tshirt, which I think one ups Morgados Slayer shirt. Agree? That graphic on the front is intense. Is that a skeleton racing a motorcycle out of a pentagram clad, circus paper clothed hoop? Sit down, this one is heady.
World tour paired with a northeast tour. Interesting lot. I can’t vouch for the authenticity of these tshirts, but for the BIN of $60, it’d be criminal not to scoop.
ozzy solo is so not stoner metal. also, slayer > metallica. both musically and the 2 shirts posted today.
