“Original” Dischord shirt

The auction states that this is an “Original” Dischord shirt from 1986. I am like 99.9999% sure that dischord has never ever made shirts. Plus it doesnt seem like the Dischord way. This looks like it was just made with the pic from the insert of the “flex your head” comp. I think it was rumored that porcell made shirts of these in the 80s/early 90s? Or am I high and making that up in my head? Regardless if it is original or not. It is printed on an old shirt and looks killer. Good Shirt!

If you have the Banned in DC book laying around, give it a look! You’ll see a picture of Jeff printing those Dischord shirts. I can’t tell you if he printed this one though..

Dischord 100% made shirts. Find an old dischord ad, or look through ine of those old DC books to see a pic of jeff Nelson screening them.

This is one of the ones Jeff made and sold through an ad in MRR in the late ’80’s. Notice the design says “D.C. Records”. The originals said “harDCcore”.

Dischord did printed some shirts back in the day. I remember hearing about Don Zientara having a bunch of time and still rocking them on a regular basis.
