I guess if you are proud of what you do, you should wear it pinned to your sleeve. When it comes to Minus, they prefer to have it screened across the back of a tshirt. Hey man, that’s cool. If that’s what you are into, more power to you. I’m not going to judge, not at all … Oh wait, they meant something else??

Well, I DID say I’d find a tee that would allow us to straddle the line between Metal Monday and Memorial Day, but I never said it’d be particularly appropriate… we are dealing with metal here, after all, so your mileage may vary on whether or not this Slayer tee goes all the way over the line or not. We love sellers that post up great stories along with their auctions. southparktvma is one of those sellers. Here’s the story.
I got this shirt (size MEDIUM) at Edge Day 08 in Haverhill. The line up was Free Spirit, No Tolerance, Waste Management, Blank Stare, Rampage, Step Forward, Alone in A Crowd (aka HXH) and Have Heart. Everyone was complaining that there weren’t big name bands on the show for 08, and then right after everyone THREW THEMSELVES on the Free Spirit and No Tolerance band wagon. I remember I walked into the gig, paid, and then was greeted by either AJ or Greg (I forget). (Ed. Note: It was Jason Barrow) He asked me what size shirt I was. Caught off guard, I thought he was trying to buy my What Feeds the Fire shirt off my back (shout out to Sean and Rich. I put out their new band Mouth of Flower’s 7″) but he was actually giving away I Floorpunch logo FP shirts. What a great gesture. I give a ton of free stuff away when I do my record label. It’s a good feeling. I’m sure handing out these shirts to X’ed up kids was a good feeling as well.
