The Suicide File – Reunion Tee

It seems that The Suicide File departed on an off note. It was good to see those dudes get back together and have a PROPER send off. I know they finally had a chance to tour Europe. I’m sure kids were psyched. And then they played a few more shows afterward. Everyone seemed to really enjoy that. Good for them, I say. I was always a big fan of that demo. Dave went on to become a teacher, and according to the Wikipedia entry, his kids have been having fun with him.

As for the tee, I’m not sure how I feel about it. It feels like a nod to the sketchy lot that was on Pontiac St in Roxbury. You could see this kind of graffiti splashed all over those rocks. Of course, these days that sketchy lot has been torn down and replaced with some fancy condos. Yeah, eff that. Can you imagine how different that fight between Chris B9 and Azy would have been if it had taken place in a fancy condo living room? Where do people dump their old ass TVs now? Wack, very wack.

The X’s as dots on the I’s seems a little off to me too. Pretty sure EVERY dude in that band is an edge breaker.

Everyone’s favorite CTHC band. Too bad this is a bootleg. There are a ton of boots out there now a days. While I am not a huge bootleg fan I understand kids buying them. What I do not understand is when kids bid up these bootlegs for $50+. Take the advice of UC and “Use Your Head”

I know I am getting old and senile, but what the hell am I looking at? I know Sex Vid is a band, but what does this have to do with that. Who’s on first? Can I get a witness? An explanation? Something?

I am in need of an original Bl’ast! Wishingwell 4 sided shirt which is UNCUT at the bottom. I have 2 of them, both from dudes who appear on many of the records you own. Both have cut bottoms. Was there a shirt cut and rolling party? Did they dare each other to see how short they could go?

With all that said, I am PROUD to add this item to my collection. It features double logo print on the back and black print on both sleeves. I may attempt to “fix” this one as I did the other one. Other than the bottom, this thing is minty. Would it bother any of you if I wore my Bl’ast! shirt tucked in?

And because you asked for it Town of Hardcore Crew…… here for reference is my other 4 sided previously mentioned in this article. It was a cut shirt, and you can see where I had it “repaired”. Great tuck in shirt. Hey it was cool in the 90’s right? Please note the designs are different. I LOVE wishingwell!
