Madball – Cause I Got High Tees

I love Madball. There is no doubt about that. In fact, I was watching some old vids and caught a Madball Lupo’s show from way back in 1998. You know who the first stage diver was? Yeah, that’s right, me. And fuck, I looked hella skinny. Of course, later, Ian Larrabee tried to fight the bouncers for over enforcing the no stage diving policy, Boston Mike (RIP) had to break shit up … Great show.

But here’s the thing. I don’t smoke weed. In fact, I don’t do any drugs. Yes, I’m straight edge. Which could explain why I find the starting price for both of these items completely ludicrous. I can’t be the only one. Please weigh in because maybe these prices are fine, and my LACK of weed has reverse clouded my mind.

If you are the seller, please explain. I don’t get it. If you really need the money, why start the bidding so high? Just set a reserve. By starting the auction so high, you are just screwing yourself on listing fees and scaring away potential buyers. Just my $0.02.

Minor Threat – Vtg Porch Tee

I was hoping dudes would sleep on this tee.

I was hoping it would go under the radar, and I would scoop for cheap.

That’s not going to happen anymore. A couple hours left and it’s already over my price point.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve never seen one of these before. Great looking tee with a fun color scheme. Great tee.

Rollins Band – Tour 92 Hood

Growing up, my parents were very against MTV. Apparently it has too many scantily clad ladies on it. But in the end, my brother and I figured out a system with which to watch for parents coming home AND MTV at the same time. We would set up a stool in the dining room near the front door. From this vantage, a person could both watch the driveway and the tv. It was a smart gig. I’ll never forget that Great White video.

Here’s another video I’ll never forget.

This video struck me at the time. I’m not sure if I was aware that Henry Rollins was also the guy from Black Flag. But the video captured my attention. I’m sure it wasn’t a crazy multi million dollar affair (obviously). In fact, it was probably more like a shoe string budget. But it did the job.

This sweatshirt was from the tour 2 years prior to that song, but hey, it’s all good. Four sided hood that isn’t on a shitty ash grey hood. Yes, good choice.

American Nightmare – Tour 2001 Tee

Someone told me that a crew in Florida bootlegged these tshirts a few years back. Why? No idea. It never seemed that popular of a shirt to begin with. Granted, it’s a cool shirt. Thankfully, this dude mentions purchasing it directly from the band during that tour.

However, judging by these pics, you could assume it was bootlegged. Screened upside down. BUT that’s not the case. Just someone who didn’t rotate their picture before adding it to ebay. How they got upside down in the first place is a mystery to all of us.

I drew a heart around the name of your auction.
